Somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean

We are on the plane, headed to Madrid where we will have a short layover before going to Portugal. Derek and I can't sleep because 1) we are too excited and 2) I have a horribly behaved child sitting behind me who has been kicking my seat the entire time and yelling her grandmother.....

Iberia is an AMAZING airline. Our plane is so cozy. We got a blanket and pillow and headphones. The stewards haven't stopped making our needs meet. I had a delicious Spanish meal of beef and gravy, quiche and green beans. I gave Derek my cheesecake. We got tempranillo which was free with our dinner. The stewardess gave us an extra to split. We said thank you and told her it was our honeymoon, and she gave us another one. Derek also got a whisky free. We each have our own TV. Derek has been watching movies. I have been following the informational travel map and reading "Gone Girl".

I can't wait to be in Lisbon. It still hasn't hit me yet!
